He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth; his former life partner Essie Janice Jones Johnson; his son Stephen (Lora); his granddaughter Stephanie Hanson of Washington; his great grandchildren, Marcus and Brenden; his granddaughter Shavonne -Krauth (Adam) of Washington; his great grandchildren, Cooper and Hunter; his grandchildren, Heather Whitlow and Sean Whitlow (Kristine); his daughter Cheyenne; his stepdaughters, Lillian and Barbara; and his sister Flora Mae Nichols.
