She is survived by: her children, Willene Ransom, Richard "Fox" Ransom and Samuel Ransom, Jr.; her grandchildren, Korian Ransom, Shawn Ransom, Eric Thomas, Tasha Mitchell (J. C.), Jeremy Ransom, Jermaine Ransom (Dee), Charity Ransom, Nicole Johnson, Travis Johnson, Samuel Ransom, III, Jody Pope, Lachell Taylor, Toyua Matlock (Rob), Russell Pryor (Amiac), James Screetch, Jr., Journie Bach and Vada Rankin; her great grandchild Titus Ransom; and her great-niece Donzetta Ashford (Marcus). She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seventh Street Christian Church (122 W 7th St, Paris, KY 40361). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
