With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Walter Blackwell of Paris, Kentucky, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his daughter Elizabeth Luann Rogers (Carl); his stepdaughter Kellie McDaniel; and his sister Anna Jean Goins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
