He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Breunig and Angela Gaffney Breunig; his former wife June Jekel Breunig; his wife Janet Mitchell Breunig; and his son Kent Lee Breunig.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael "Mickey" Breunig of Versailles and Kenneth "Larry" Breunig of Springfield. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home (526 Pleasant St, Paris, KY 40361).
