She is survived by: her daughter Carol Gilkey; her stepdaughters, Debra Cunningham (Kenny), Phyllis Johnson (Icem) and Janet Reed (Homer); her grandchildren, Shayla Bryant (Antwan), Jaii Gilkey (Elizabeth), Aaron Speaks (Stacy), Erik Speaks (Denay) and Myron Thomas; her siblings, Mae Roberts, Anna Marks and Eugene Grigsby; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Hart, Patricia Crooks and Shirley Crooks; her close friend Margaret Mason; and her children-in-law, Marsha Williams and Morgan Gilkey.
