She was predeceased by: her parents, James Charlie and Edith Belle Stuart Wassom; and her siblings, Louise Wassom (Perry Wassom), Ann Stewart (Frank Wassom), Shirley Smith (Jerome Clyde Wassom) and Barbara Smith (Charles Wassom).
She is survived by: her children, David Bruce Heflin, William Mark Heflin (Cindy) and Laura Beth Heflin; and her grandchildren, Rachel Lee Mitchell (Joshua), Alex Heflin, Michael Heflin (Jamie), Michelle Lee Heflin, Trevor A Steele and Sean David Heflin (Tori). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
