She was predeceased by : her husband James Edward Coons Jr.; her parents, Dee Harney and Betty Florence Harney; her children, Patricia Jo Coons, Trina Coons Bussell and Chet David Coons; and her daughter-in-law Sallie Coons (Gregory).

She is survived by : her son Gregory Dee Coons (Dawn); her grandchildren, Lauren Coons Holt (Henry), Byron Joseph Coons, Scott David Coons, Siena Catherine Coons, Megan Bussell Mattox (Shane), Emma Kate Bussell (Andrew Steele), Brandon Dee Coons (MaKenzie), James Courtney Coons and Maria Lee Duvall; her great grandchildren, Riley Christine Bussell, Kennedy Shae Mattox, William David Mattox, Clara Constance Holt, Eli Gregory Holt, Joseph Henry Holt, Sebastian James Holt, Scout Remington Coons, Elijah KeShawn Duvall, Braylen Lee Duvall and Calen Thomas Duvall; her sister Billye Jo Pate (Chuck Eskrich); and her children-in-law, Bill Bussell (Trina) and Deborah Coons (Chet). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
