She was predeceased by : her husband Howard Keith Hurst; her daughter Karen Sharp; her granddaughter Erin Hurst; and her siblings-in-law, John, Marilyn McKinney and Martha Lee Hudnall Poe.

She is survived by : her sons, Philip K. Hurst (Toni) and Paul Alan Hurst (Christy); her grandchildren, Amy Graves (Jonathan), Adam Keith Hurst (Ashley), Lee Sharp (Tess), Dana Hurst (Lafe), Tyler Hurst (Ava), Katie Hurst, Jacob Hurst (Janella) and Matt Horne (Sara); her great grandchildren, Bryna Elizabeth Graves, L. J. Hurst, Piper, Jude, Jasper Sharp, Hannah, Lucas Hurst and Jack Hurst; and her brother Roy Elvest Poe.
