He is survived by : his spouse Shirley Ann Patterson Fields; his sons, Richard Fields (Redondia) and Brian Fields; his grandchildren, Jaron Fields, Brianna Fields, Brandon Fields, Bryson Fields, Shiray Fields and Taylor Glover; his great grandchild Cairo Fields; his brother Crit Fisher, Jr. (Anita); his close friend Jim; and his siblings-in-law, Shelton Patterson, Keith Patterson, Ruby Kemper and Peggy Rice (Raymond). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
