She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Eads and Elizabeth Weathers Eads; her husband James McCarty; her close friend David Gilliland; and her siblings, Betty True, Robert Eads and Carl Eads.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Douglas (Lorie); her stepdaughter Nancy Pilkenton (Ken); her grandchildren, Nathan Eakin (Maddy), Morgan Eakin, Kristin Tuten (Josh) and Nikki Hackett (Robert); her sister Carolyn Sue Faulconer; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Eads and Mary Eads. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Clintonville Christian Church, 141 Austerlitz Road, Paris, KY 40361.
