She was predeceased by: her parents, Nannie VanBuren and Albert Johnson; and her siblings, Thelma Marie Gooden, Dorothy May McNash, Allie Sharon Kerns, Iona Bell Johnson, Hazel Metcalf Burberry, Mary Bessie Fulton, Lillian Leeds Lafrana, Ruth Virginia Corbin, James Foreman Johnson, Virgil Emery Johnson, Jessie Gaines Johnson and Albert Lee Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Wilma Isgrig Hammons (Tom); her granddaughter Katie Isgrig Hammons Brewer (Brian); and her great grandchild Alma Ruth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations please be given in remembrance of Ruby to the local charity of your choice, Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US Highway 62E.
