She was predeceased by: her parents, Janie Bates and Woodrow Bates Sr.; her husband Thomas A Stumph Sr.; and her siblings, Betty Heflin, Beulah Bates, John Bates and Woodrow "June" Bates Jr..

She is survived by: her sister Irene Davis of Paris; her children, Janie Martin (Larry) of Paris and Thomas Stumph Jr. (Sherri) of Nicholasville, Two; her granddaughters, Michelle Rawls (Ryan) of Ozark and Sarah Quisehuatl (Emiliano) of Lexington; her great grandchildren, Ellie and Isabella Quisehuatl; and her pet Lucy.
