With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Perkins (Paris, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 37. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Freddie Lee Perkins and Charles K. Jefferson. He is survived by: his children, Sophia Katherine and William Michael, Jr.; his grandmothers, Mary Katherine Perkins and Sharon Miner; his siblings, Craig Thomas Perkins and Christina Marie Smith (Anthony); and his nieces and nephews, Liam Thomas, Penelope Monroe Perkins, Lilli Marie Smith, Christian Dodge Smith and Silis Hawke Smith.

His family request donations be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
