He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Devoy Garrett and Mary Gwendolyn Qualls Garrett; his wife Hilary Ann Hileman Garrett; his daughter Nicole Garrett; and his brothers, Larry Garrett and James Garrett.

He is survived by: his son Nathan Garrett; his grandchildren, Garrett Graven, Summer Raine Taylor, Jolynn Nicole Garrett, Gwendolyn Garrett and Blaine Garrett; and his siblings, Albert Garrett (Toni), Ramona Tizedes (George) and Dorinda Garrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
