He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schmidt and Alice Schmidt. He is survived by: his children, Adam Schmidt, Melinda Derosett of Brook Park, OH, Jennifer Long (John) of Parma, OH and Candace Sikes of San Antonio, TX.; and his close friend Betty Jane Arms.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dutch Creek Cemetery.
