With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Gordon Howe of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Carol Gordon leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Carol Gordon may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Gordon and Helen Gordon. She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Gordon of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jan Gordon of West Chester, Ohio; and her significant other David "Dave" Howe.
The Covid epidemic, combined with failing eyesight and arthritic hands, forced the closing of the shop in 2020, an event that broke her heart.
Carol struggled with a variety of health problems after that, culminating with the diagnosis of Parkinson's last fall.
