She is survived by: her husband Elmer Messer of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; her children, Jennifer Powers (Adam) of Bronston, Kentucky and Wilie Messer of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; her sisters, Mary "Mert" Hollars of Whitley City and Glenna Watson of Revelo, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Diamond Powers, Lily Powers and Neveah Powers; her great grandchild Elowene Denney; and her close friend Phillip Vanover.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
