He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Blanton and Roberta Tootsie Collett Blanton; his wife Judy Lipps Blanton; his daughter Paula Beth Blanton Taylor; and his siblings, Jackie Onkst (Marvin), Clayton Blanton (Wilma), Marsh Blanton and Denver Blanton.
He is survived by: his caregiver Aaron Blanton; his son-in-law Jerad Taylor (Tami); his brother Chad Blanton (Doris); his sisters-in-law, Geneva Blanton, Margie Sandusky, Lucy Cummins and Kathy Lipps; and his brothers, Mark Adams, Stan Blanton, JC Craig, Marty Howard, Richie Howard, Frank Napier and Ronnie Oplinger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and his church family.
