It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avery Shacklette (Payneville, Kentucky), who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Travis Shacklette and Sarah Shacklette; her brother Drake Shacklette; her close friend Luke Millay; her grandparents, Sharon (Eddie Bruner), Ricky (Barbara Rhodes), Virginia "Ginger" Arnce and Ray Shacklette; her aunt Danielle "DoeDoe"; her uncle Brock Wiltshire; her great-grandparent Martha Nell; her grandchildren, Walter, Emilee Rhodes, Ruby, Garland Shacklette, Emma and Buddy Wilkins; her uncle Bradley Rhodes; and her pet Piper.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the St. Theresa Family Life Center (9245 Rhodelia Rd, Payneville, KY 40157). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church (9245 Rhodelia Rd, Payneville, KY 40161).
