We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2024, at the age of 83, Claire McAleer of Pembroke, Kentucky, born in Homewood, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Olson and Lila Richardson Olson; and her husband Thomas McAleer. She is survived by : her children, Ted McAleer (Maria Jose') of Seville, Spain, Dawn Stealy (Joe) of Statesboro, Georgia, MaryClaire Mullins of Pembroke, Kentucky and Kate McAleer of Pembroke, Kentucky; her siblings, George Olson of Chicago, Illinois and MaryEllen Hansburg of Chicago, Illinois; her grandchildren, Tara Purcell (Jacob), Alexander Mullins, Nicole Luley (Ben), Toni Elswick (Josiah), Christopher Philbrook (Naomi), Cory Stealy and Ryan Stealy; her great grandchild Riley Purcell; and her grandchildren, Sawyer Purcell, Avery Purcell, Sophia Mullins, Ayla Lay, Henry Lay and Oliver Luly.

Memorial contributions in Claire's honor are suggested to Max's Hope Pet Rescue.
