She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Seay and Amelia Tandy Seay; her former husband Bobby Massie; her husband Gene Cole; her daughter Tammy Thomas; her brother Tinker Seay; and her grandson Joshua Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Malcolm Lee Massie (Misty) of Pembroke, KY and Jenny Newby of Hopkinsville; and her sister Jane Clark of Fairview, KY. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and her thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to American Alzheimer's Association.
