She was predeceased by : her parents, Norris "Buck" Bond and Joesphine Mason Bond; and her brother Bookum Bond. She is survived by : her husband Alton Slaughter of Pembroke; her sons, Keith Bond Slaughter (Lori) of Bowling Green and Jeff Slaughter (Jill) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Ashley Benge (Kyle), Lauren Slaughter (Cameron Odil), Zach Frommel and Kaitlyn Austin (Dylan); and her great grandchildren, Kyleigh Anne Benge, Lynnleigh Kate Benge, Steven Frommel, Weston Lucht, Braydon Frommel, Hazel Frommel and Adelynn Josephine Austin.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home (700 Country Club Ln, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Rosedale Cemetery.
