He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Chapman and Inez Feagans Chapman; his wife Dixie Chapman; his children, Fred L. Chapman and Lori Chapman Haile; and his sisters, Mary Ruth Williams and Gayle Roche.
He is survived by: his children, Mark L. Chapman (Becky) of Lexington, KY, Cathy Smith of Pembroke, KY and Cindy G. Smith of Pembroke, KY. He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren; his thirty-eight great grandchildren; and his twenty-two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to a charity of the giver's choice.
