He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Gardner Welch (William) of Perryville and Angela Weakley Hill (Jay) of Durham; his grandsons, Zachary Gardner (Brianna) of Richmond and Tyler Gardner (Allie) of Greensburg; his great grandchildren, Grayson Gardner, Lilly Gardner, Luka Matic, Iris Gardner and Lorabeth Gardner; his stepchildren, Vickie Berwick (Kenny), John Epley (Amy) and Tom Epley; and his stepdaughter-in-law Nellie Epley of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to St Jude Children's Hospital.
