She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Warren and Kate Baker Dye; her husband William Francis Preston; her son Charles Joseph Preston; her siblings, Robert Dye and Margaret Moore; and her grandson Matthew Joseph Preston.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Cochran (David) of Danville, John Preston (Jennifer) of Monticello and Richard Preston of Frankfort; and her sister Jacqulyn Stigall of Danville. She is also survived by two grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
