He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Richard "Rick" Gerard Hayden, Jr. (Heather), Nicole Hodskins (Joey) and Melanie Hopgood; his grandchildren, Michael Hayden, Holly Tingler (John), Matthew Biggs, Peyton Hopgood and Jacob Hodskins; his great grandchildren, Greyson Tingler and Corinn Hayden; and his siblings, Joan Zink (Jim Parker), Carolyn Poston, Anna Marie Walker, P. J. Hayden (Sarah), Imelda Kelly (Jay), Lucy Casabella (Rich), Marilyn Mercer, David Hayden (Paula), Donnie Hayden and Karen Hayden.
