With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Jeremiah Beam Hurst (Pewee Valley, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hurst and Jane Ellen Hurst; and his brother Michael Caldwell Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hurst; his daughters, Anna Emrin Hurst and Jennifer James Reading (Brian); his grandchild Landen Reading; his siblings, Lucy Beam Hurst (Tom Ehrbar) and Charles William Kavanaugh Hurst; and his sister-in-law Joan Hurst of Sewanee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
