He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hamilton and Jettie Hamilton (Adkins); his brothers, Anon Hamilton, Gilmer Hamilton of Phelps, KY and Carl Hamilton of Stopover, KY; and his nephew Christopher Fields.
He is survived by: his children, BJ Hamilton of Phelps, KY and Jamie Eldridge of Phelps, KY; his siblings, Denton Hamilton of Phelps, KY, Ralph Hamilton of Phelps, KY and Shirley Hamilton Fields of Knoxville, TN; and his siblings' children, Aletha Fields, Roy Hamilton, Allen Hamilton, Tammy Dotson, Mike Hamilton and Bethany Fields. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones & West Funeral Home (37035 KY-194, Phelps, KY 41553). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
