He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Norman Wooten, Sr. and Lillian Wooten. He is survived by : his sons, Jonathan Wayne Wooten (Kim) and Justin Norman Wooten (Alicia); his grandchildren, Jennifer Renee Wooten (Colby Miller), Matthew Wayne Wooten and Trevor Wallace Wooten; and his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Blake Dickens, Byron Andrew Dickens (Jessica) and Tiffany Ann Dickens.
