It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Easter Taylor of Phyllis, Kentucky, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cas Justice and Gustie Taylor Justice; her husband Hibbard Taylor; her children, Butchie Taylor, Barry Taylor, Terry Taylor, Bruce Taylor and Leona Taylor; and her siblings, Kelly Justice, Edgar Justice, Jennings Justice, Ellis Justice, Eugene Justice, Lonzo Justice, Brooksie Casey and Faye Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Taylor of Old Town, FL, Timmy Taylor of Phyllis, KY, Jerry Taylor of Phyllis, KY, Barbara Williamson of Wellington, KY, Carla Allen of Chloe, KY and Maretta Worrix of Elkhorn City, KY; and her granddaughter Jennifer. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel (112 Elkhorn St, Elkhorn City, KY 41522). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
