He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hardwick Sims; his son Dexter Sims (Sarah); his daughter-in-law Jenny Sims; and his grandchildren, Payton, Brock, Cole, Easton and Jackston Sims.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Carlisle Christian Church (242 N Locust St, Carlisle, KY 40311). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Carlisle Cemetery.
