She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hicks and Luzadie Hardwick Hicks; and her siblings, Bobby Hicks, Louie Hicks, Roy Hicks and Barbara Hurt.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Adkins; her grandchildren, Ashley Nichole Adkins, Chelsea Elizabeth Adkins, Brittany Taylor and Jessica Slayton; her siblings, Paul Hicks, Roger Hicks, Sylvia Davidson, Juanita Campbell and Sheila Wix; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Jack Adkins (Avonelle).
