She is survived by: her husband Charles Edison Mims; her children, Walter Mims (Cherri) of Pikeville, Charles Edison II Mims (Mia) of Georgetown, KY, Robert Mims (Vicki) of Hendersonville, TN., John Mims (Kayla) of Bowling Green and Amy Johnson of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Emily Lucas, Jess Johnson, Charles Martin Mims, Allison Rhea Mims, Alexander Mims, Matthew Edison Mims, Wells Lee Mims, Heath Earle and Trey Gallegos; and her sisters, Jane Wells Amos of Pikeville, KY, Patricia Wells May of Pikeville, KY and Margaret Wells Wallen of Stanville, KY.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Son Funeral Home (703 Hambley Blvd, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
