He is survived by: his wife Pamela Coleman Prater; his children, Jerry Neal Prater (Terrie), George Lester Prater (Kendra) and Billie Jean Bevins; his brothers, Samuel R. Prater (Jean) and James J. Prater (Penny); his stepsiblings, Timmy Eden Owens, Benny Owens, Vivian Wallace and Paula Rowe (James); his grandchildren, Kierra, Jeremiah, Jessica, Emma, Mason, Jaxen, Ryder, Grant, Benjamin, Andrew and Aeryn; and his friend Paul David Collins (Loretta).
