He is survived by: his brother Roger Maynard (Helena Maynard) of Charlotte; his wife Hazel Gibson Maynard (Heifer); and his daughter Devan Maynard Slone (Zack Slone) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky..
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (4902 Zebulon Hwy, Raccoon, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
