He is survived by: his son David Adkins (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Isaac Adkins, Brian Adkins, Jacob Adkins (Abby) and Emily Adkins (Nate Roberts); his significant other Frances Adkins; and his siblings, Kenneth Darrell Adkins (Jeannie), Paul Reed (Tammy Adkins), Peggy Flinchum (Dirk) and Allyson Prater.
