He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his son Darrin Compton (Rita); his sister Buncie Bryant; his grandchildren, Benjamin Craig Compton, Chasity Hope Newsom, Makayla Faith Skeans and Christa Noell Baker; and his great grandchildren, Marshall, Maverick, Gracelin, Taylor, Elijah, Lincoln and Clay.
