He is survived by: his children, Walter Mims (Cherri) of Hurricane Creek, KY, Charles Mims (Mia) of Georgetown, KY, Robert Mims (Vicki) of Hendersonville, TN, John Mims (Kayla) of Bowling Green, KY and Amy Johnson of Hurricane Creek, KY.; his siblings, Tony Mims (Sandy) of Toler, KY and Daryle Woofter (Tom) of Falmouth, KY; and his grandchildren, Emily Lucas, Jess Johnson, Charles Martin Mims, Allison Rhea, Alexander Morris Mims, Matthew Edison Mims, Wells Lee Mims, Heath Earle and Trey Gallegos. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
