It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Damas Ramey of Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Damas Ramey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Ramey and Nellie Marie Ramey (Castle); and his brothers, Douglas Ramey and Dranhan Ramey. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Ramey (Kidd); his daughters, Kristi Thacker of Pikeville, KY and Amanda Davis (Darrell) of Morehead, KY; his grandson Damian Thacker; his pet Baxter; and his siblings, Dennis Ramey (Lynne), Linda Duty (Keith), Laura Ramey and Karen Ramey. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, September 1st 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (3135 Flemingsburg Rd, Morehead, KY 40351).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. Claire Foundation or American Heart Association.
