It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Combs Jr. of Pikeville, Kentucky, born in Ary, Kentucky, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dan; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Combs, Bill Ritchie, Leslie Rogers and Ben McGuire.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Martin Combs; his children, Zachary Tyler Combs of Pikeville and Brooke Shurtleff (Robert) of Pikeville; his siblings, Lillian Ritchie of Indiana, Carol Daniels (Paul) of Ohio, Audrey Rogers of Frankfort, Bessie McGuire of Lexington, Peggy Davidson (Don) of Georgia, Gaston Combs of Indiana, Coet Combs (Linda) of Florida, Morgan Combs (Debra) of Minnesota and Walter Combs of Decoy; and his grandchildren, Luke Shurtleff and Molly Shurtleff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
