He was predeceased by: his parents, Robie Carl Turnmire and Maxie Turnmire (Chapman); his daughter Angie Turnmire Tackett; and his siblings, Arnold Lee Turnmire, Stanley Gene Turnmire, Adala Turnmire, James Turnmire, Walter Pete Turnmire, Rosevelt Turnmire, Ray Turnmire, Kenneth Turnmire and Sue Hackney.
He is survived by: his son Rodney Turnmire (Joy) of Sidney, KY; his sisters, Mae Justice of Phyllis, KY and Edith Hackney of Michigan; his grandchildren, Austin Robie Turnmire (Allison) of Kimper, KY and Leah Jane Turnmire of Sidney, KY; and his great grandchild Miley Joy Turnmire.
