He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matthew Thacker and Mavis Thacker Norman; his children, Dennis Blackburn, Angel Sowards and Crystal Thacker Murphy; his siblings, James Ratliff (Opie), Willa Thacker and Debbie Slone; his grandchildren, Jordan Standifur, Elijah Moran and Ethan Blackburn; and his close friends, Charles Mcguire (Lawanna) and John Lewis (Shelly Roberts).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501).
