Dorothy Hunt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Hunt of Pikeville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morgan and Erma Angeline Roberts Smallwood; her brother John Smallwood; and her grandmother Laura Epling Roberts. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Foster Hunt; her children, Tammy Fields (Rick) and Stephen Foster Hunt Jr. (Andrea); her grandchildren, Genevieve Hunt, Lindsay Runyon and Eric Fields; her great grandchildren, Levi Branham and Oliver Branham; and her sister Betty Smallwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Annie E. Young Cemetery (4964 Chloe Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
