He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Dorton of Pikeville, Kentucky, Misty Irick (Sam) of Pikeville, Kentucky and Brandy Taylor of Pikeville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Sam Irick (Brooklyn Fannin), Michael Irick, Shae Taylor, Sierra Taylor, Alexis Ratliff and Bella Ratliff; his great grandchild Waylon Kyle Irick; and his siblings, Truman Dorton of Millard, Ted Dorton of Michigan, Eddie Dorton of Tennessee, David Dorton of Michigan, Danny Dorton of Michigan, William Dorton of Michigan and Golda Pearl Smith of Michigan.
