He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jefferson "Jeffrey" Charles and Emma Justice Charles; his wife Dessie Mae Adkins Charles; his children, Earsil Charles Jr. and Diana Faye Charles; and his siblings, Eugene Charles, Doug Charles, Denver Charles, Lucille Thacker, Maggie Bartley and Robert Charles.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Adkins (Gregory) of Millard; his brother Gary Charles of Florida; his grandchildren, Jeremy Justice, Jeffrey Justice, Megan Adkins and Kyle Justice; and his great grandchildren, Bailey Justice, Macie Justice and Tyler Holland.
