It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Looney Thacker of Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Looney; her husband Virgil Thacker; her daughter-in-law Mona Thacker; and her siblings, Gypsa, Elizabeth, June, Estle, Worley, Orbie, Dewey, Harlow and Emmit.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Thacker (Melissa) of Pikeville and Lloyd Thacker of McDowell, Kentucky.; and her brother Joe Looney (Helen) of Road Creek. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
