It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ervin Estill Thacker (Pikeville, Kentucky), who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Acy Thacker and Opal Coleman Thacker; and his siblings, Willie Thacker, Homer Thacker, James Arthur Thacker, Charleen Farmer and Ida Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sellards Thacker; and his siblings, Andy Tom Thacker, Eloise Farmer, Patricia Cameron and Mable Reiss.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
