She was predeceased by: her parents, Mont Fields and Orpha Sword Fields; and her siblings, Garland Fields and Mary Vada Williams. She is survived by: her husband Ermil Akers; her children, Glen Akers of Pikeville and Sandra Justice (Keith) of Pikeville, Kentucky.; her siblings, Roy Lee Fields (Sharlene) of Tennessee, Bruce Fields of Pikeville and Coletta Hall of Pikeville; and her grandson Gavin James Akers.
