He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Tibbs and Marie Weddington Tibbs; his wife Erma Tibbs; his former wife Geneva Lee; his son David Tibbs; and his sister Lakie Tibbs.
He is survived by: his children, Teddie Tibbs (Sherrie) of Georgetown Kentucky, Marty Tibbs (Ashley) of Stone Coal, Connie Ray (Steve) of Pikeville, Robin Campbell (James) of Stanford and Karen Jenkins Batavia (Bob). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
