He is survived by : his wife Connie Helvey (Lowe); his sons, Mark Helvey (Laura) and Jason Helvey (Stephanie); his brothers, Ervin Helvey (Fayetta) and Lonnie Gibson (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Alexis Helvey, Isabella Helvey and Lucas Helvey.
